Trading on the over-the-counter and exchange market
Koliber Energy Trading is an active player in the wholesale gas and electricity market in Poland. We base our cooperation on long-term contracts with entities from Poland and other European countries. We are also present in the gas, electricity, and property rights market on the Polish Power Exchange in Warsaw. We also have access to the TTF financial market, the German Trading Hub Europe market, the EEX energy exchange, and other markets in Central and Southeast Europe, including Slovakia, among others. We plan to expand access to European markets through the ICE exchange. This is a natural step for us to develop and stabilize our business.
Physical delivery and hedging with financial products
Koliber Energy Trading offers its partners unique solutions that combine physical energy deliveries with the possibility of financial price protection for the delivery period. This offer provides partners with additional protection against price fluctuations during the contract period. We stand out with an individual approach to business partners and products tailored to their needs and expectations. We offer products that enable stable price protection, which is crucial for business planning. For companies that are characterized by high variability and non-standard consumption profiles, we offer products based on the Commodity Exchange Energy Index. In addition, we propose hybrid products that combine the advantages of price security systems and index flexibility.

Koliber Energy Trading uses a number of tools to minimize exposure. Effective management of the risks associated with natural gas and electricity trading is crucial to the operation of our company. We are constantly improving our risk management methods and are constantly monitoring market changes and updating our procedures to minimize them in every area of our business. In order to hedge our portfolio, we are active in trading CO2 emission allowances, oil, and other energy commodities. We also have long-term contracts (LTCs) as part of our long-term portfolio management strategy.
As part of these procedures, we use financial instruments to guarantee control of commodity price risks and secure our company’s liquidity.
